Starting January 10, 2007, the new editor and public relations specialist at the Chazen Museum of Art will be Susan Day. The museum is pleased to add such an experienced editor and production specialist to its staff. Day comes to the museum from a year at the Guild in Madison as print production manager, where she oversaw the publication of décor and jewelry catalogues. She worked closely with the merchandising, marketing, and creative teams. Susan also has deep roots in book publishing, with five years as a freelancer editing, designing, and producing four-color illustrated books and marketing materials. Some of her projects include the Illustrated Battle Cry of Freedom , Creating Black Americans , and Environmental Psychology for Design . Before freelancing she worked at the Oxford University Press New York office in editorial and then production. She received a bachelor's degree in English from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN.
