Programs  Casual Visitors

Printed guides are available to visitors in the permanent collection galleries free of charge. However, a donation is appreciated. The major works of art in each gallery are described in the order they appear. Avoiding jargon, the printed guides provide a brief historical and geographical context for each artist and comment on the style and content of the work. If it helps visitors understand the work, the art historical style, school or movement to which it pertains is noted. For select temporary exhibitions, introductory brochures are provided in the galleries, free of charge.
