Programs  UW Students and Faculty

Student jobs at the Chazen Museum of Art, i.e., being involved "behind the scenes," are a good way to learn about the visual arts and the museum profession. Approximately fifteen paying positions are available to UW-Madison students each academic year. These are spread among the various areas of museum operations including curatorial, education, art preparation and installation, membership, general office support, and the Museum Shop. Preference is given to applicants who have qualified for work-study awards through the Financial Aid Office.

All student openings are listed on the UW Student Job Center web site under "Arts" or "Work Study Required." Interested persons can also contact the museum's receptionist for current job openings, volunteer opportunities, and applications.
