A handbook of the Collection, updated in 1990, relates the history of the Chazen Museum collection and includes 154 illustrations of objects in the collection.
Separate catalogues of the Van Vleck Collection of Japanese Woodcut Prints , the Cleaver/Liebman Collection of Chinese Export porcelains, Greek vases, ancient coins, and the Watson collection of Indian miniature paintings are also available.
The museum also publishes critical and documentary catalogues of selected exhibitions. These are sold through the Museum Shop; they are also distributed, free of charge, to about 260 museums and libraries throughout the U.S. and abroad. See Books for the complete list.
