Volunteer for special events

Volunteer

Sunday Afternoon Live Concert Assistants are needed at each Sunday classical music concert that is broadcast live from our Brittingham Gallery III by Wisconsin Public Radio. Concerts are scheduled most Sundays from September through mid-May. Assistants help set-up the gallery for the concert, assist visitors with reserved seating, hand out programs, and put out the after-concert refreshments. Assistants can attend all or part of the concert program between their volunteer functions. No previous experience is necessary. Volunteers should be willing to interact with the public and have a friendly and professional presence to represent the museum. Contact the Assistant Director for Administration for more information.

Special Events Ambassadors are needed to assist at special events such as exhibition openings and special concerts. Times and dates will vary. Help is needed greeting and counting visitors, setting up and taking down equipment, chairs, etc., answering questions from the public and promoting museum programs and membership to visitors. Volunteers should have good communication skills, an interest in working with the public, and be friendly and outgoing. Contact the Development Specialist with questions.
