Join local craftsman Bill Scheer for a special tour of The Crafted World of Wharton Esherick from his perspective as a woodworker. This tour will open up an understanding of Esherick’s practice by looking closely at his materials, process, joinery, and mark making—focusing on how he constructed the sculptures and furniture on view.
Advance registration encouraged. Walk-ins welcome as space allows.
About Bill Scheer:
Bill Scheer specializes in traditional woodworking methods and techniques. He makes handcrafted furniture and teaches hand woodworking skills in his Madison workshop.
