Galleries are closed for reinstallation of the permanent collection.

The Mead Witter lobby and the Chazen Café are open Monday–Friday.

Mead Witter Lobby: 8 a.m.–3 p.m.  •  Chazen Café: 8:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

The entire museum—both buildings—will reopen in the fall.

 


 

Located in the center of the UW campus, the Chazen is free and open to the public. Public parking lots are available nearby—The Frances Street Campus Garage is closest, the Chazen is on several Madison Metro bus routes, and BCycle stations are nearby. Accessible parking stalls are in front of the museum off University Avenue and other locations nearby. Contact us to learn more.

The museum and café are closed for campus holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day.
