Campus Mourns Chancellor Blank

We at the Chazen join with campus in mourning and remembering Rebecca M. Blank who died of cancer Feb. 17.  Blank served the UW–Madison as chancellor from 2013–2022. The university has published a remembrance page that details her contributions to UW–Madison, the state, and beyond.

Our hearts are broken as we remember Chancellor Blank, an economist who understood the true value of the arts. We are grateful for her support of the museum and the arts on campus.
