Giovanni Francesco Romanelli (attributed to)

The three female figures represented in this sheet may be identified, from left to right, as Minerva, the goddess of war, wearing a helmet and carrying a spear, who gestures up to a dove with a laurel branch which symbolizes peace. Juno, in the center, wears a diadem and is accompanied by a peacock. At right is the personification of a city, identified by the turreted crown she wears, who is pointing down to a lion holding pine branches, and is also gesturing to the other figures. A putto holding four lilies hovers above. The meaning of this scene has not yet been fully deciphered.
