The scene of the Building of the Temple of Solomon shows King Solomon in the center with Hiram, the Phoenician mastersmith, at right. This design exemplifies a biblical theme later adapted to the traditions of Freemasonry, which tranformed the tools in the foreground into Masonic symbols.
