Before 1935, this vase was on the art maket, and around 1935 it was purchased by the father of Karl Haug (Basel, Switzerland) [all according to dealers Gainfranco and Ursula Becchina]; 1975, to be sold by Karl Haug (Basel, Switzerland) [according to dealers Gainfranco and Ursula Becchina] to Antike Kunst Palladion (Basel, Switzerland) [run by Gianfranco and Ursula Becchina]; 23 January 1983, sold by Antike Kunst Palladion (Basel, Switzerland) to the Elvehjem Museum of Art [now called Chazen Museum of Art].
