Hugo Oelze of Amsterdam, the Netherlands (1892-1967); 24 April 1968, sold following Oelze’s death in Amsterdam, the Netherlands at the Paul Brandt auction “Highly Important Objects of Art forming the late Dr. M. Hugo Oelze Collection” as the work of a "Franco-Flemish master" (lot 53); purchased from this sale by Edward R. Lubin, Inc. of New York, NY; 1968, sold by Edward R.
