The demon Ibaragi flees while clutching her severed, decaying arm. The demon slayer Watanabe no Tsuna had cut off the limb six days earlier. Disguised as Watanabe’s elderly aunt, Ibaragi returned and persuaded him to show her the arm. In this scene, Ibaragi sheds her colorful outer garment, revealing her true identity, her gnarled blue face and clawed foot returning to their demon form.
