Each facet of this box carries an image from Alexander Pushkin’s fairy tales and poems. Prince Gvidon from the Tale of Tsar Saltan is waiting on the shore for the arrival of the Tsar’s fleet, the fisherman is asking the golden fish to grant his wife another wish (The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish), the prophet is telling prince Oleg his fate, a happy couple is enjoying a fast ride in a troika (Winter Morning), and Prince Yelisei is looking for his vanished bride (The Tale of the Dead Princess and Seven Knights).
