December 1976, probably [1] sold by Brian Sewell (London, UK) to Joseph F. McCrindle (New York, NY); June 2009, gifted from the estate of Joseph F. McCrindle to the Chazen Museum of Art. [1]The general file for the McCrindle collection contains an invoice from Sewell listing a Luti among paintings recently purchased from him. However, the invoice does not offer enough description of the work to confirm its reference to this specific Luti.
