Ogata Kamio

Ogata Kamio is a self-taught potter from the northernmost island of Hokkaido. He employs a technique that is becoming popular among contemporary ceramicists called neriage, which combines different colors of clay. Kamio is interested in creating the illusion of movement on the surface of a pot.
