1932, commissioned of the artist, Isamu Noguchi (New York, NY) by Louis and Annette Kaufman (Los Angeles, CA)[1]; 2010 consigned to LewAllen Contemporary, Santa Fe; 29 October 2010, gifted by Annette Kaufman (Los Angeles, CA) to the Chazen Museum of Art. [1] According to Annette Kaufman via conversation with CMA director in 2010: Mr. and Mrs. Kaufman were good friends of the Burliuks; While visiting the Burliuks, Mr. Kaufman saw a plaster version of the sculpture and offered to pay for two bronze casts if Mr. Kaufman could have one of the casts; the second bronze cast (with Noguchi) was published in a catalogue.
