- Recently, the Conciergerie was crowded... not a very elegant affair. No suits by Humann, nor hats from Gibus. We also noticed the loaded sticks of the fashionable policemen. (See the article in the fashion section) (Il y avait foule dernièrement à la Conciergerie, on y avait adopté le plus grand négligé. Point d’habits de Humann, point de chapeaux Gibus. Nous avons pu remarquer que les cannes des fashionnables de la préfecture étaient plombées. (Voir l’Art. Modes.))
