Paul Adolphe Rajon

Best known for his etched portraits, Paul Adolphe Rajon was a French printmaker and painter active in Paris and London. Along with reproducing existing portraits by contemporary artists and Old Masters, Rajon made original portraits of esteemed individuals and artists including Alfred Tennyson and James Abbott McNeill Whistler based on his sketches.
