In this vertically oriented print of a spring landscape, a snow-covered Mt. Fuji, slightly to the left of center, rises above a dark mountain range in the background. The prominent sky fades to a deep blue as it nears the top edge of the paper. The midground features a lush green plain and a river which spans the width of the paper. One figure paddles a small boat while four figures wearing kimonos and holding parasols stand on the riverbank. The foreground shows vivid green grass and two blossoming cherry trees. The tree on the right spans the height of the paper.
