Act XI, burning incense. At the Temple they are met by the priest who conducts them to the grave of lord Hangan, where the head of Moronao is left as an offering. Each of the ronin then burn incense while prayers are said by the priests of the temple. In the historical events, the ronin then depart to await sentencing. As expected, they are required to commit seppuku and are then buried in Sengakuji Temple around their lord, Hangan.
