Giuseppe Galli-Bibiena

Giuseppe Galli-Bibiena, one of the members of a family of architects and stage designers who were active throughout Europe, worked in Italy and Germany where he decorated the Opera House in Bayreuth built by his uncle. He also worked on fantastically elaborate stage settings in a late baroque style for operas, balls, state occasions, and religious ceremonies.
