Possibly by 1950*, collection of Helen Wurdemann Guzzardi (Los Angeles); December 1988, transferred to the Estate of Helen Wurdemann Guzzardi; November 1991, bequeathed to the Elvehjem Museum of Art [now called Chazen Museum of Art]. *The artist’s inscription “B.G.” suggests that the painting may have been commissioned by or gifted to the Baroness Guzzardi.
