By 1974,* sold by Galleria Il Segno (Rome, Italy) to Alexander and Henrietta W. Hollaender (Oak Ridge, TN and Washington, DC); 1991, bequeathed to Elvehjem Museum of Art [now called Chazen Museum of Art] *The object file contains no record of the date of this transaction, but the work’s appearance in a 1974 exhibition of works from the Hollaenders’ collection tells us it was in their possession by that year.
