Janine Yorimoto Boldt, then curator at the Chazen Museum of Art, presented a Badger Talk on the history of Theodore Robinson, often regarded as one of America’s foremost impressionist painters. Robinson spent his formative years in Evansville, Wisconsin, and solidified his style in Giverny, France. Boldt is now curator of American art at the Palmer Museum of Art at Penn State University.
The Chazen holds four artworks by Robinson.
