The Chazen is Now Open by Appointment

The Chazen Museum of Art is now open. Hours are Tuesday–Friday, 12-5 p.m., The first, second and parts of the third floor of the Chazen building are open, with a limit of 25 visitors at a time. To manage occupancy, the museum uses a free admission appointment system.

Speaking of Book Arts: Oral Histories from UW-Madison, and a selection of recent acquisitions are currently on view.

Museum and campus safety measures

In keeping with UW–Madison policy, University of Wisconsin System policy, Dane County policy, and for the safety of the community, face masks or coverings are required to enter the building.

High-touch surfaces in the museum will be wiped down hourly, and the occupancy limit will allow 6-foot distancing.
