When I started: March 2023
On Saturdays you’ll find me: Exploring a new state park or trying out a new recipe.
My alma mater: UW–Madison
My college major: Conservation biology and environmental studies
My favorite artwork at the Chazen: Empty Every Night by David H. Becker. It’s so gruesome that it’s hard to look away from, but the more you look, the more details you find.
Last job before the Chazen: I was a volunteer coordinator for a community science project at the DNR called Snapshot Wisconsin. They send free trail cameras to volunteers across the state and receive photos of wildlife back for use in conservation management decisions. It was fun to see so many photos of Wisconsin wildlife. You catch them doing some pretty cool things when people aren’t around.
My hobby/pastime: Reading memoirs. I love stories of personal transformation like Wild by Cheryl Strayed and Educated by Tara Westover.
