What I do at the Chazen: I greet visitors and help connect them with the art.

When I started: I began working at the Chazen in May, 2023

Insider tips for visitor: The Object Study Room has some of the most interesting stuff to see!

First memory of the Chazen/LVM: I had made a point to visit when I was in Madison for a friend’s wedding several years ago.  I remember an exhibit of glass statues!

My Hometown: I am originally from Chicago, IL

What I love about the Chazen: Being a free museum located pretty centrally in the city, the Chazen is a good place to visit frequently whenever you are in town.

My alma mater: I attended Northwestern University for my BA, Loyola University Chicago for my first MA, and the University of Washington for my second MA.

My college major: History, with minors in Latin and Religious Studies

My favorite artwork at the Chazen: I feel like it changes every day, but if pressed I’d say The Fall of Novgorod by Klaudii Vasilievich Lebedev.  It has so much going on!

My favorite museum other than the Chazen: The Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds, UK.

My hobby/pastime: Historical research and reenactment
